On Saturday the players of Aspatria held their annual awards presentation night. To mark the occasion the players organised a summer BBQ and were rewarded with a big attendance and a fine sunny evening. Director of Rugby, Mark Richardson opened the proceedings with a hard hitting summary of the season gone following which Aspatria were relegated.

There was also a fond farewell to Steven [Stan] Irving who is leaving his post as Eagles Manager. Steven was presented with a tankard and other gifts to mark his many years of service at Bower Park as both a distinguished prop forward and his later role with the Eagles.
